BRG Handicap Day - May 4 2008 - Gallery & Results

The third Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2008 was held at the Growling Frog Golf Course in overcast conditions with the breeze getting up on the back nine. With a svelt display of ball-striking, new member Wade Jones put on an absolute clinic and took the bikkies with a powerhouse display that left the rest of the field in his wake. He racked up 44 stableford points on a day when many well-credentialled Bushrangers struggled to post competitive totals and nerly all players struggled to master the challenging putting surfaces at The Frog. Tt was daylight in second place, closely follwed by another new member, Peter Fox, on 37 points and BRG Player of the Year leader David Regespurger rounding out the podium with 35 points. The final results are below and the standings for the BRG POY have been updated.
