5th BRG Handicap Day - November 17 2007 - Gallery & Results

The 5th Bushranger Golf Handicap Day for 2007 was held at Yarra Bend in perfect springtime conditions and glorious sunshine. In a thrilling contest, The Crockinator prevailed with a stunning 75 off the stick to post a mighty 42 stableford points. In what was a scoring bonanza on the back side, he was able to hold off the fast finishing Willo and Ho who both stormed home with 22 points on the inward nine to finish tied in 2nd place on 40 points. The next BRG event will be the First Handicap Day in 2008, slated for late January, probably at The St. Andrews Beach Golf Links on the Mornington Peninsula. Seve and Da King up to their usual hi-jinx near the 6th tee, quite probably discussing the stunning red and black ensemble the debonair Spaniard in the works put together for the day.

Willo tees off on the 6th hole, with its long and winding path flanking the right side of the fairway.

Seve hits gracefully on the sixth to the tight pin placement on the right side of this devilishly sloping green.

Crocko winds up in the tee box on the long 11th hole where he made a super par: one of three in a row to start the back 9.

Brycie pitches in to the 12th green with the spectators in carts parked by the short par three 13th hole.

Dubs hits his effort to secure the NTP on 13th only to be robbed moments later by the cunning Hominator.

Diddio on 13, demonstrating his move for keeping his scone behind the pill: The leaning tower of Crocko!

Da King makes a royal swing at his big drive on the 16th with the very smart Seve in attendance.

The 16th green viewed from the fairway with Ho on the right, Brycie at his long drive in the shadows on the fairway and Diddio doing some calculations at the base of one of the big gums on the left.

After two massive blows on th 18th, Diddio chips for eagle from the front edge and leaves himself a tap in or birdie as The Big Fella looks on.
