2013 Bushranger Golf Victorian Player of the Year Results

Once again the contest for the BRG POY came down to the last event of the year and we had the prospect of tie once again with the two leaders fighting out a ding-dong battle over the final events of the year. When the dust had settled, 2011 winner Neil Hocking could not quite reel in Jason Layton who had a stellar year. Neil had the edge on numbers of entries with more showings but Jason had a very consistent year with many solid performances and very consisent scores and points. Rounding out the top ten were past winners Matthew Pitt & Rob Lugton, new Bushrangers Luke Redpath, Kossi Hean, Tom Tomlin & Darren Nelson and old stagers Shane Morris & Dave Warwick. Below are the results for the top 25 plus ties in the 2013 POY.
